One more of caution, my sister works in the travel industry and does a lot of group flight booking and mentioned something worth thinking about. You might have already already clocked this, or it might not be a problem, but: 'check how they're working out the tax. Sometimes airlines don't fix the rate until they "ticket" you which isn't until much closer to the flight and they can suddenly hike the rate up and the total could end up being a lot more. This happened to me and they tried to charge me £2000 extra.' Could also genuinely just be a cheap flight though! On driving, I can drive, although have never driven on wrong side of the road! If you haven't got this, start planning to get one! You'll need to apply for a visa waiver. It costs $14 (about £10). OK you raised a good point Tori. The person from AA says... "The fare is also guaranteed but taxes will have to be priced at time of ticketing. In my experience, they don’t change much. They might a little because of the currency exchange rate." That said, we'll have similar issues if we try to book tickets separately, as well as changes to the fare, so it might just be a question of when we choose to make the final payment. The issue with seat availability is simply one of whether we're able to choose our ideal seats together, not whether we'll get on the plane - so no issue there.
