H&M have changed their range vary slightly.
Attached photos (apologies for the quality) shows the T-shirt currently
available. Still a 'divided basics' t-shirt, but they now size them XS-XL
rather than 6-18.

Sorry to send this to everyone, but I couldn't work out how to find Laura's and Becky's addresses.
Just bin it if you aren't Laura or Becky.

Hi Katherine, Becky and Laura
I'm sewing skirts and sashes for Becky and Laura atm and it would be easy to make Katherine's too, if you like. If you'd prefer to do it yourself, that's absolutely fine: I'll bring fabric and pattern tomorrow. But if you'd like me to make them for you, could you confirm your waist measurement and finished skirt length, please? Inches or cms.
Do I remember that you tried on mine and you need one about an inch bigger? I really should write down everything because I can never remember from one moment to the next!
Waist is on your natural waistline, ie round the thinnest part of you and skirt length is approx 4 inches/10 cm above your knees.
I'm trying to get them done for Thursday, but can't promise. You may need to swap outfits around if you are dancing.
In the meantime you all need to buy a black T-shirt of your own from H&M. Details of T-shirt, tights and shoes attached.
Hope to see you tomorrow,
S x
Thanks all for a fun crawl tonight and CONGRATULATIONS to Becky on completing her first dance out.
Here are our guesses on how much we collected. Sorry, I seem to have missed Sue out!
Lindsey £98.58
Nikki £84.10
Hannorah £86.27
Laura £75
Nic £65
Janet £76
Becky £84
Ken £78
Ffion £102.45
Aisha £56.73
Sue / Jo can you let us know who's closest when you've had a chance to count?
See some of you on Sunday,
Ffion x

Congratulations, Ffion! You were very close indeed, but we managed to exceed even your optimistic guess - just! £103+ and a few euros.
I'll send the exact figure later (I have some expenses to claim, but it is still an impressive total - even without our once-favourite pub)
Well done everyone. It was great fun.
Looking forward to Sunday

Hi All
Here's the route for Thursday's crawl.
Must say it was so nice to go into pubs where they remembered us from last time. Think we're going to get a good reception back on our home crawl (well sort of nearest crawl to the Tower)
1. Blind Beggar, Whitechapel Road
Meet here by 7.15, ready to dance at 7.30.
2. White Hart, Mile End Rd
3. Possibly Spanish bar on opposite side of street TBC - barman was too busy serving to ask, but they let us last time.
4. White Hart, Whitechapel High Street (yep same name as other pub)
5, The Archers, Osbourne Street
6. Princess Alice, Commercial Street
7. The Dispensary, Leman Street
8. Oliver Conquest, Leman Street tbc
9. The Bear, Leman Street tbc
There may be a couple of changes as I'm awaiting confirmation from a few places, but this will be it more or less.
See you then Ravens!
H
Hi all,
I’m on your mailing list as I was hoping to come to some practices last summer but I never managed it! But I think you might want to take me of the list. I haven’t read any emails but I know you’ll be planning DERT soon, and I might be tempted! 😉
Cheers,
Kate

Hi there. It's Kate from Camden Clog. Could you let our members, those
who are your members too, know that the Camden practice in December will be
back at the school.

Forwarded from facebook for you all.

Thanks Rachel.
I'll be driving from Berkhamstead. I realise that probably isn't very
useful for lifts as I its the wrong side of London. if anyone wants to
come to Berko for 9.30 I can give a lift from there, but byt the time
you've done that you may as well go straight to Oxford.

Ladies,
More info for Sunday has now been confirmed. The current list of people
attending is: Becky, Fred, Ffion, Hannorah, Janet, Lindsey, Nikki, Sue and
the maybes are: Jo, Rachel, Sinead.
Apologies to the rest of you for an irrelevant email!
"The overall plan for this year's extravaganza is as follows:
Meet from 11am in the Royal Blenheim, to begin dancing at 12 noon (sharp!)
The Blenheim will be serving tea, coffee, bacon butties and all the usual
morning stuff (plus, of course, beer from their amazing array of handpumps).
We plan to move on to the Far From the Madding Crowd around 1:15.
Then it all goes a bit free form, and we will split into three tours that
will be organised on the hoof.
Meet up at the Kings Arms in order to begin dancing at 4pm. Ali promises us
that there will be food as usual and - we dare to hope - home-made cake.
Getting There
The postcode for The Royal Blenheim is OX1 1PT. It is about ten minutes
walk from the Gloucester Green bus station, about 15 minutes from the train
station and easily accessed by the Park & Ride buses."
Regarding transport, there are regular trains from Paddington (about an
hour), or the Oxford Tube from Victoria area. There may also be people
thinking of driving - I know Lindsey might? I shall leave you to sort that
one amongst yourselves.

Ravens,
I have quite a strong opinion that tower ravens should only advertise the
info(a)towerravens.org.uk email address to external sources.
This means that if a festival organiser, in 2 years time, picks up an email
address for us, they will still get through to the committee rather than
someones personal account who may or may not still be dancing.
This applies to festival/booking invites, communications to other sides,
setting up hoodie or buisness card accounts, DERT, dancing out at pubs.
As a result, could I request that anyone who wishes to send emails
externally either:
- forwards them to the secretary to then forward on
- talk to me about getting you added to the info@ mailing list, so that you
can then set up your emails to appear as sending from info@.
At present I'm assuming that it is only really the committee that need to
send emails like this, as we've now have a precident for festival invites.
(They get forwarded to the secretary).
Cheers!
Lindsey
