Hi all,
Just a quick reminder that there will be NO PRACTICE on Monday as it's the bank holiday.
There will be NO crawl in May as we don't have enough people available on 30 May.
Rachel has added Cinquefoil's day of dance to the spreadsheet and has separated out the Towersey dates. Please can you all fill these out with your availability as soon as possible? Here's a reminder of the link to the sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvM6rY7GMmOGdF9vYVIwaXBmXzViSz…
Enjoy the bank holiday!

Hi all,
Not sure whether or not I'll make it tonight as I'm being sent to Derby
with work and don't know when I'll be back. Just thought I'd let you all
know, but fingers crossed!

As I'm not going to be at practice on Monday thought I'd share below email from guy at Tenterden.
He's sticking to his 'on the fence' status about his preferred day for us to attend, as I said he would.
If we have an equal amount of people who can do either day I vote we go for Saturday, as that's clearly the busy day & would probably be the most fun!

Hi,
Quick follow up - Lindsey had the bright idea of writing down which places
people can dance from. There's now a cell underneath your name on the
crawl sheet with some numbers in it. A number on its own means that you
would be happy and confident to dance out in that position, a number in
brackets means you're learning the position but it still needs a bit more
work. M is obviously musician and T tommy. We've tried to put in those
positions which we can remember, but do go and update it to make it more
accurately reflect your feelings on the subject.
Hope you're all having a good day.
Thanks,
Rachel :)
Hi All
Unfortunately I have a work event I now have to go to next Monday night, so I'm going to have to miss practice.
This does mean someone else is going to have to step up to role of cake monitor. Any volunteers?

Hi all,
The crawl availability spreadsheet has now been updated after yesterday's
discussion - Friday's crawl is cancelled and crawls from now on will be on
the last Thursday of the month. Get 30th May and 27th June in your diaries
now (or even better, put them all in for the rest of the year!) and don't
forget to sign up on the sheet.
The other thing that I was to mention was how much people owe me. I've
been lax and haven't done this for a little while, so there are some
amounts outstanding. As always, you can either give me cash or transfer
money straight to the bank account: account number 00380515, sort code
070246. And if you don't have a monthly subs direct debit, may I encourage
you to set one up?
Aisha - 24
Fred - 12
Janet - 12
Jo - 36
Josie - owed 4!
Nic - 20
Nikki - 39
Rachel - 24
Sinead - 8
If your name isn't mentioned above, it's because you don't owe anything.
Hurrah!
Nice to see those of you who were around on Monday and nice to be back
dancing after two weeks off.
Rachel :)
Hi all,
Below is a draft of the new dance with youtube videos for each of the figures. We'll discuss it tomorrow but if you can't be there and have any opinions please feel free to email them to me.
I didn't get enough interest in practising on 28 May so there will be NO PRACTICE on the week of the next bank holiday (week commencing 27 May).
According to the availability sheet we'd have to dance at the following positions for a crawl on Friday: 1 - me, 2 - Josie, 3 - Rachel, 4 - Sinead (and possibly Hannorah), 5 - Sue. This would mean a few of us dancing not in our first choice positions. If you have opinions on this please email them / bring them tomorrow.
It seems that Thursdays are better for getting a team together so I suggest we stick with the last Thursday of the month being our regular crawl night and that we start to decide who will be organising the route further in advance. Again, let's discuss tomorrow.
Here's the draft dance:
swords up as in beadnell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSKJ2JBOle4 0'00 - 0'29

See you tomorrow,
Ffion x
Hi all,
At practice tonight we learnt a few new figures which will hopefully feature in our new dance - fast and loose into choker and windmills.
There weren't many people at practice tonight but several of us aren't able to practise on Tuesday 28 May (the day after the next bank holiday). Please write and tell me asap if you can and want to practise on that day. If I get 5 dancers saying yes by THIS FRIDAY we'll practice. If not, we won't.
Please please please can everyone fill in the availability spreadsheet? At the moment we're not able to commit to several things like the next crawl and winstable because we don't know if we'll have enough dancers. Follow this link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvM6rY7GMmOGdF9vYVIwaXBmXzViSz…
See you in just 6 days time,
Ffion x
I won't be joining you sadly, but I will update my availability on the dates spreadsheet (sorry for not doing earlier).
If we have enough people for a crawl on 17th May, does anyone have a location in mind?
Can I suggest Shoreditch, Soho or Holborn/Russell Square/Gt Ormond St.
If we go for the latter I can source pubs in my lunchbreak, if we go for either of the first two I might need a bit of help with calling round places.
Just let me know the general consensus.
Hx
