Take great care, Sinéad, and get fully better soon.
Great to hear we won't be losing you any time soon. Hope you find something wonderful to do in your gap year.
I won't be there on Monday, but hope to see you the following week - but ONLY if it doesn't cause any compromise to your recovery.
Oh yes - and we'll have to organise some proper kit of your own!

Hi Hannorah & the Ravens,
I'm sorry I didn't let you know I couldn't make it yesterday, I had a rough day. My physio thinks I've just overworked a short-acting muscle in my hip (apparently it's quite common for people with hypermobility). I'm off the crutches at the moment but it'll be really easy for me to do it again, so I won't be dancing again 'till it stops hurting. Hopefully I'll be at practice on monday either way.In other news I've decided not to return to Exeter in September, I'll take a gap year instead, and that means I'll be around to keep dancing.
Have a good week,Sinéad

Subject: [Tower Ravens] Crawl Soho - important update
Good Morning all
For those who are coming tonight, we are now meeting at 7.30 at the Blue Posts on Berwick St. As the Endurance has closed
down!! There are several Blue Posts in & around Soho. This is the one on Berwick St: http://www.fancyapint.com/Pub/london/blue-posts/670
This is the proposed dancing route, although we may mix the order up a bit & the outside dances are optional:
1.The Admiral Duncan - Old
Compton St (needs to be early as cabaret is on at 9) 2.Possibly outside French House – Dean Street 3. The Crown – Brewer St 4. Crown and 2 Chairman - Dean St 5. Golden Lion - Dean Street (outside is preferable)
Coach and Horses - Greek Street TBC 6. Pillars of Hercules - Greek St
7. Carlisle Arms - Bateman St 8. Possibly outside Dog and Duck - Bateman St 9. De Hems TBC
– Macclesfield Street (good place to end as big & friendly) Tonight is going to be a fantastic! Its Soho on a balmy summer evening. It's a Thursday & for many it's pay day. I reckon we're going to get a great reception and hopefully raise a bit of cash. So come armed with your best smile ready to have loads of fun.

I'll send a list of confirmed pubs tomorrow, but they are likely to consist of some of the following, and we could potentially risk one or two street dances too: 1. Soho theatre2. The Blue Posts

Hey Ladies
Does anyone fancy playing netball tomorrow night at 6pm at Kennington Park (2 mins walk from Oval Station).
My team, Age UK are playing the British Heart Foundation in the charity league, but we're potentially a few players short so could really do with an extra couple of bods.
Let me know if you're up for it.

Hi everyone,
Good practice last night despite unbearable heat!
Just a few diary updates:
We're not going to Hannorah's boat this year but will decide on a date soon for next year.
There will be NO PRACTICE on 19 or 26 August. We think we'll be able to practice on all other Mondays during the summer but please tell us if you're going on holiday so we can be sure to have a team at each practice.
Because of not practising on 19 and 26 August we decided to see if we can do the August crawl on 5 September instead. Please fill in your availability on the sheet.
See you next week,
Ffion x
Hi all,
Just had this in a facebook message. I think most of us weren't going
to Towersey, but if anybody is and is interested...
"Hello Tower Ravens,
Phil Bassindale pointed me in your direction. I run a company called
Shooting Roots that teaches various folk arts - including rapper dance
- at various festivals.
We are booked to run rapper workshops at Towersey Folk Festival in
August (22nd-26th) and, unfortunately, have have a number of rapper
tutors cancel on us at very short notice. I am assembling something of
a skeleton team so far but we're still desperate for rapper dancers to
assist. Would all or some of your team be interested in coming to
Towersey and joining forces with representatives from Gaorsach and
Silver Flame? I'm afraid Shooting Roots can't offer any monetary
payment for doing this but we can provide tickets (with camping) for
the festival and see about getting you booked in to perform somewheres
if you manage to arrange a full team.
It'd be great to hear from you soon as we're away to Sidmouth before
long and will have considerably less time to administrate.
Thanks and regards,
Calum Anderson
Shooting Roots Festival Director"
