Just an FYI that we are thin on the ground tonight - coming we have:

So it will be one big Jubilee party with the numbers as follows:

Hope that sounds ok, Laura I hope I'm right in thinking you have done 4 on occasion? And that the transition from 2 would be ok. We can always walk it through somewhere just to make sure it's ok.

First off a big well done to those who went to Chippenham, I think we had a really good day, managed some great dances and had a lot of positive feedback!
Next - no practice tomorrow but then a crawl around Fitzrovia on Wednesday. The numbers are a bit low but we definitely have a Jubilee side so I would very much like to go out and crawl. We're also fighting against the Championship final so we might not have loads of pubs, considering the numbers and the heat this probably isn't a bad thing! If you have a tankard please bring it and be prepped to collect. If we did attempt Westerhope it would depend on Laura S managing to recall 2 just from having taught it last year (which would be ace if you can but not really expecting you to be able to). Also we won't have Sue so come with tommying in mind. I think if anything me and Hannah overlap and I'm quite happy to shout.

So currently the weather looks a bit weird for tomorrow, around 25 degrees but also raining in the morning?? Try and bring something to keep you vaguely dry.
Re. the heat, I'm aware we have a pretty hardcore team of 'oh I'll just keep going' including me as a prime suspect. Please, please tell me if you are too hot/tired and need a rest. We are all needed in every dance and we have a reasonably tight timetable but we can do the best we can to mean we're not dropping after half an hour!

*Ffion's album launch * - I think we're mostly just missing Thrales, but if
anyone else hasn't filled it in and would like to please find the doodle

*Clog Doodle *- Katherine from Camden Clog has very kindly agreed to teach
us a waltz! To make the most of it, we probably ideally would need a whole
day / half day to actually learn it. (We can arrange to borrow clogs from
C# for those of us that don't have them.) If you don't want to do clog,
could you please add a comment/say you can't make any days or something to
the doodle saying as such so that I don't bother you about it. I've put a
lot of weekends in (so apologies for that), but as we get into the summer,
it does get much harder to find weekends when we are free...
I've nominally put times to indicate AM/PM - they seem to have removed that
option! Basically all day Saturday is an option (or AM/PM) or Sunday PM -
we'll confirm actual times when we've got a likely date!

For those not going to Chippenham - feel free to ignore.
*Friday Night*
We are staying with Kate's mum, Alisia, in Devizes on Friday night as she
has very kindly agreed to put up with us!
Address is: 9 Broadleas Park, Devizes, SN10 5JB. If you get lost call Kate,
and if no answer, the home phone is 01380 699488. It will be Kate's brother
Tom who will answer the door when we arrive.
Bring sleeping bags and anything else you want for sleeping on carpet.
Becky - I suggest we meet at Euston at 1820 ready to go if that suits you?
(Maybe near Paperchase?) Not sure exactly which platform it will be...

*Saturday*
We need to collect our collecting tin by about 0945 so we can head over to
our first display spot. May be worth going in a bit early so we can
breakfast and feed Katherine double espressos...
See the attached for info about the day as a whole (I'll bring a copy of
this) and our timetable is as follows.
There is a map on the displays info one if anyone needs. Sue - I think
you're meeting us there, so if you'd like to either join us for brekky or
whatever we do, or at the festival office at 0945 (it's near where we'll be
doing our first performance).
1010-1020 Big Top Arena
1045-1130 Rose & Crown
1215-1300 Wetherspoons
1330 Gather for parade at:
1400 High St Parade to Island Park
1530-1615 Borough Parade
1630-1645 Stage 2
So, a rather busy day for us!
Afterwards, there may be a rapper crawl if anyone wants to stay on,

Hello all,
First off thanks for the Chippenham teams' hard work last night, I'm so pleased that instead of having 1 dance we in fact have 3 which we can dance out! In particular well done Hannorah and Hannah for dragging Piccadilly memories up/getting through a new position 😊Apologies again to others that last night didn't involve so much dancing, I hope that the stepping work you did was useful and Jo did a great job of getting that first half of Jubilee in her head.
I know there will be info re. Chippenham going out from Hannah, see some of you there! Remember there is no practice next Monday as it is a bank holiday, but we ARE crawling next Wednesday, again details to follow.

Apologies for the rather late e-mail, just a little reminder for everyone going to Chippenham to try and be there promptly tonight as the focus will be to try and get us reasonably confidently through Piccadilly and Westerhope (and Jubilee of course).
People who I know can't make it: Sue, Laura W. and Laura S. Reesha I saw on facebook you weren't well so assuming you're a no tonight? (hope you feel better soon!)
Not sure if our new members have made it onto the mailing list but if so hopefully they're coming along tonight! I did warn they might not get much dancing in due to Chippenham looming but it people were happy to take them through stepping that'd be ace.

They sound pretty good online and the Knees Up ceilidhs are usually quite fun so Patrick and I are considering going along. Anyone else fancy it?

Hi All,
A fairly short one this week.
The crawl WILL be on 31st May, as that seems to be the date with the most
of us able to go. I have updated the sign-up sheet with this based on the
doodle poll. If the three of you who didn't quite get around to the doodle
poll could have a look and add your names to the appropriate part of the
sign-up sheet that would be appreciated.
New item - 9th July (a Sunday) we have been invited to join Greenwich
Morris and others for a day of dance around Greenwich starting at the Cutty
Sark. We could probably sneak the odd pub in so we don't have to
continually dance outside.
If everyone could have a quick look at the June crawl (now 29th June -
sorry about it moving about so much) to see which way their maybe or no
reply is going, then we can work out whether we will have to be flexible on
that date as well. Looking reasonably good at the mo, but could do with a
couple more Yes's.

Hey all,
Can I check for tomorrow who I am missing? Atm I know I don't have ffion and jo, laura w you were a maybe? Is there anyone else not coming?
We have two new members. Ideally I need Chippenham set to do some Westerhope with laura s covering 5 and then we'll do some jubilee (or vice versa) I don't think we'll have 2 sets due to absences, and I have warned that this might be the case. If you're not dancing Westerhope please have it in mind to teach them some stepping.
Hannah Im assuming we haven't heard from the scout hut so we'll be staying at Kate's mum's (as long as still OK) please can you come with train choices and prices. As well as bus options so that we can get it all agreed and tickets bought asap. Also if we can get a crawl date settled that'd be ace, although I do know that relies on everyone having responded to the doodle poll!
