Here's a video of the clog dance I was failing to teach! It's called (or
rather I call it) Ottawa waltz and makes a bit more sense with the music!
The tune is Crested Hen's but I imagine other French Canadian/French tunes
might also work.

Hello all,
Just wanted to check-in with all of Ravens!
I'm keeping in touch with quite a few people in our Monday zooms, which is lovely but I know doesn't work for everyone.
While I hope everyone who comes to zooms enjoys it I want to emphasise again that no-one should feel obliged to do so if they don't want to, are working late, have internet problems, don't feel up to socialising or in general can't face it! Whatever happens, we'll still be a team when we all get back together again :)
Saying that, if there is anyone who doesn't make the zoom chats but would like to socialise in some other way, please do let me know and I'll see what we can organise. Would a different day work? Or a different format? Obviously, we can't accommodate everything but I don't want anyone feeling left out!
For those who regularly attend zoom chats, thank you! I hope changing the host each week is working? Personally, I've loved seeing the different topics, and now games that people have been suggesting. Similarly, people who've kept in touch on whatsapp, it's lovely to keep the dialogue going 🙂🙂
For those I've not heard much from, I hope you're doing ok still, if you want to get in touch please do, or if you just want to see us when practice resumes that will be great too!

Tonight's theme...
We're going to do a version of the game 'Consequences', where we construct
a story by going round the Zoom 'circle', each adding a word or sentence
(or so) at a time, without planning or conferring. The more spontaneous the
better. A typical guide for how a Consequences story goes as follows
(although we might adjust it a little depending how many people we have):
1. Adjective for woman
2. Woman's name
3. Adjective for man
4. Man's name
5. Where they met
6. What they went there for
7. What she wore
8. What he wore
9. What she said to him
10. What he said to her
11. The consequence (a description of what happened after)
12. What the world said
Example (from Wikipedia):
*Mediocre Joe* met *transparent Kim* at *the bowling alley*, to plot the
overthrow of Stalin
Joe wore *a seafoam green leisure suit*. Kim wore *a sandwich board*. Joe
said to Kim, “*During the last storm, we had a little party in the mud*.”
Kim said, “*She wasn’t that into me*.” As a consequence, *the band got back
together*. And the world said “*Somehow, I think I saw this coming.*”
