Here's a video of the clog dance I was failing to teach! It's called (or
rather I call it) Ottawa waltz and makes a bit more sense with the music!
The tune is Crested Hen's but I imagine other French Canadian/French tunes
might also work.
Thanks,
Ellie

I've shared an item with you:
Emergency Contact list

It's not an attachment – it's stored online. To open this item, just click

Hi everyone,
As discussed yesterday, here's the emergency contact list. Please fill it
in with the details of any person you would like the team to contact in the
event of an emergency.
I hope everyone can access this and edit it. Please let me know if not.
Thanks!

Hi All,
Minutes from our "post DERT" discussion the other day. I guess the key
thing anyone who wasn't able to make it might be interested in is our plan
for return to dancing when we are able. In summary, we need restrictions on
social distancing to end in order for us to practice - currently the
earliest this would be is 21st June. Following this, we would aim to do a
crawl, noting that we may have to dance outside pubs at times depending on
their opinions on it and any requirements at the time. Once we have had a
crawl we can then look at events again, and will register interest in going
to Bath Time at the end of October.
We would also want to check in with how people are feeling regarding this
in case anyone has any concerns nearer the time. If you do, please let me
or Becky know in the first instance.
While we still can't practice, we could potentially have the odd stepping
practice within the guidelines - at the moment this is limited to 6 people
(so 5 dancers and 1 musician). I will keep a close eye on guidelines if we
do this, and the Morris Fed have a really helpful risk assessment to help
organise this safely.
Otherwise, obviously we can meet socially! Once groups of 30 are allowed
we'll organise an en masse Ravens meeting in a park somewhere. However, if
you want to hang out with up to 6 ravens, please do - the spreadsheet we
had last year is still around
<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZlZ9QoJTF0C7c_suG4SWp7TVYG02HrQvGf-…>,
although I think about 6 ravens have moved houses/are about to move house
so it possibly needs updating. You don't have to have a whole postcode, you
can just pop your general location in (e.g. Stockwell) which might help
with working out who is nearby, who might be willing to travel in a
favourable direction!
Hope you're all having a lovely week and hope to see some in person faces
at some point soon!
Monday night zooms will obviously also continue!
