Great crawl last night everyone. Big congratulations to Kate
and Reesha for successfully completing their first dance out! Thanks to
Katherine, Anna and Hannorah for all of their organising. O’Neils has cemented
its place in my top ten London pubs J Thanks also to the three members of the band. Didn’t
it sound great? Nikki, can you think Nikki for us? I’ll pass on our thanks to
Martin. Sorry I had to rush off – I ended up getting the penultimate train home
so all was well.
Next Monday, as I think I already mentioned, we’ve got a new
member joining and I’d also like to try and get a few more people a bit further
along with the new dance.

Ok lovely ladies,
This is a very last call for anyone who wants a ticket to DERT (Janet or anyone who hasn't been around recently |I'm thinking of you guys!) I have until Friday to edit our application so let me know ASAP.
There is no pressure to come, but it is a fun weekend and the bigger the troop we have going the more support we all give each other and the better we dance :)
Looks like should be an excellent crawl on Thursday with lots of people going, first dance outs and all sorts!

Hi all,
Thanks for a very successful practice last night. We managed to dance all the way through a version of the new dance and Kate and Reesha are ready for their first dance out. It's going to be a great crawl!
Next Monday we've got a new person called Laura joining us so we'll start teaching her the Jubilee dance. I'd also like to get a couple of different people learning the new dance and we'll run through both dances with people going to Mable's Day.

Hello all!
1. DERT2. Signups
1. We are officially entered into the DERT and Traditional Competition and will find out after the closing date if we have got places in them.
It does say I can change the numbers up until then so if anyone wants to pull out/ be added in the mean time just let me know as soon as possible.
Also got round naming people by calling us all team member 1,2 etc.
In the end I put all dancers/musicians down as team members with only 1 spectator (Sinead that's Alex :) ) this means if we need anyone to step in/anyone pulls out. Or if you fancy having a go at anything we're a lot more open!

Our bio for DERT seems to be this at the moment:
'Formed in the wake of DERT 2012, Tower Ravens are London's newest, youngest, most attractive (and only) female rapper team. Named after the feathered guardians of the crown jewels, these birds have escaped the confines of the Tower and are looking forward to flying West to Bristol. Catch them if you can!'
(I just quickly edited it to say west to bristol)
Are people happy with this? Happy to take other suggestions.
Also the photo for us is the one from last thrales day that featured on the front of that magazine...errr Folk London? Do people want anything more up to date?
