Hi Hannorah... How was Glasto? Was very jealous!
We decided last night not to do a mini crawl first as not quite a full team and also would be a bit of a rush. We may be doing one dance at the Green note...
More details to follow

Hi all,
Hope those who went had a fun day at Leigh. I hope you ate ice creams despite the rain.
Here's the slightly rejigged plan for tomorrow:
Polishing Beadnell with priority to those who've missed one/both of the last 2 weeks: 2) Laura 3) Kat 5) Josie
Jubilee from alternative positions: 1) Jo and Katherine, 4) Becky. We might have a new member, also called Katherine, so this would be a good chance to teach her some figures.
Jubilee for mini-crawl: whoever signs up to come on the crawl!
Tomorrow we're also electing a new secretary. If you'd like to stand but can't make it tomorrow, please let me know. For anyone who's considering it, the role of secretary is to communicate with external people and with the team. Mostly it involves getting booking requests, putting them on the sign up sheet, chasing team members to sign up, telling the people who've invited us to dance that we can/can't attend their event, then telling the team where they need to be when. Occasionally you'll also need to email the church, potential new members or other teams. Rachel/Nikki might want to add something to that description!
We'll need to decide tomorrow whether or not we're doing a mini-crawl the following week. So far we have two 4s and no one else so please sign up! https://docs.google.com/document/m?id=11XHQc6j0g7HQto7rhOs6k0bfkw-XmFb8jmCe…
See you soon,
Ffion x
Hi all,
I've just got back from Poland so have seen there are lots of Leigh emails but haven't read them yet. Found this in The Foxglove Trio account despite the fact I've given Claire TR and Rachel's address several times.
Have fun!

I would prefer to meet at 11 or it's a ridiculously early start for some
people.
If the procession is at 1, we'd still have an hour dancing before that. We
have very few reserve dancers, and realistically we're not going to be able
to dance before during and after the procession. Let's take it easy and not
exhaust ourselves before it.

However, last year, several sides weren’t able to make it on the day and we found there was plenty of time for dancers to extend their slot. Please use the time slots as guidance and feel free to adjust accordingly on the day.

At 13:00 we would like all dancers to line up in the specified order below, the reason being that it makes the process of calling all the dancers into Victoria Car Park at the end of the procession, all the more straight forward. As each side dances into Victoria Car Park they will stop and form an arch, the next side will dancer under that arch then form their own arch on the end. The next sides dances under the two sides arches before tagging on the end and so on. Once all sides are in Victoria Car Park the traditional Dorset Four Hand Reel will take place.

Hi all
If we're going all that way I'd rather go a bit earlier to make more of a day of it. I'm sure we could find some of our own 'spots' to dance before and even after procession... I seem to remember a few allys and shop door ways in our time ;) Info point seems a good starting point to meet - 10.30am? This would give us a chance to dance, have lunch together then procession.
I don't think we should pull out now. Plus... We need to show off Beadnell ;)

Hi Becky and Leigh on Sea people
I am surprised the whole thing does not start a bit earlier? Is the parade the first item? Starting later, I wonder what time it finishes cos we will want to push off around 5pm.
I would like to meet so we can have lunch together and a practise to help get into the groove.
Twelve or may be slightly earlier.
I saw an information tent marked on Belton Bridge on the festival map as a meeting place but name time and place and I will be there.

Ok, so a bit more information!
The parade isn't until 1.15 but it's suggested we get there in plenty of time before that. I'm talking to the manager of the whole event rather than our contact who would have more precise information. He tells me she has had some personal problems in the last couple of weeks but he has e-mailed her to try and prompt her to give us more exact information.
I thought maybe aim to get there for 11 or half past? I'm not sure if that's us hanging around for a stupid length of time. If the people going could give opinions that'd be great. We could always meet at 12 and have lunch together?
Let me know,
Becky x
