Hello Rapper team, Step dancer, or Mummer.
Thrales invite you to join us in our annual Rapper and Step session on the

This year, our long distance guests for the weekend are Star and Shadow,
and we will be having our usual Sunday afternoon Rapper session in The

The Prince William Henry is about 100 yards North of Southwark Tube Station
(Jubilee line) and also within walking distance of Waterloo Station
(Mainline, Northern, Bakerloo, and Jubilee lines.)
The pub opens at noon: dancing will be from 12.30, until 4.00pm.
Optional music session afterwards.
I hope you can join us.
Please let me know if you can come.

On Monday next we have a Chilts practice and on the weekend of the 11th I will be in sunny Devon.
For the following event I will have had a few more practices but I am not sure what is happening with the skirt material.

Dear all,
I hear there was a bit of discussion last night regarding events, and we
thought the best thing to do would be to put details into an email. So:
1. THRALES DAY OF DANCE
The Thrales Day of Dance is Sunday 11th November. It is held in one pub,
the Prince William Henry, just south of Blackfriars Bridge. The day itself
is actually an afternoon event - it starts at 12.30 (so maybe meeting 12?)
and goes on until 4ish. It is a very relaxed, cheerful sort of event.
There are usually 8/9 teams there, so we'll probably only do one or two
dances - this may make taking large numbers of people rather silly, as
they'll just hang around and do nothing.
2. MABEL GUBBINS DAY
Mabel Day is Sunday 2nd December (why are both of these Sundays?), and is
held in Oxford. We haven't yet been given a definite start time, but it's
a bit of a tour round pubs in Oxford during the day, probably finishing
around 4ish, and again very low key and relaxed. A bigger team for this
could be useful, as it'll be a full day of dancing.
I believe Lindsey asked for replies by the end of the week, so if you could
reply by Friday night, that'd be great. Personally, I can't do Mabel Day
but I can do Thrales DoD.
Thanks in advance,
Rachel :)
Hi all
I can do Thrales day
Possibly Mabel G Day at a push

Hiya,
Practice as usual on Monday. I won't be there, as I've got to go to
Cambridge with work, but Lindsey and Nikki should be as normal. St
Michael's at 8pm :)
Hope you all have fun!
Rachel
Hi all
I can't make tonight either... Sorry!
Hope to see you next week.
Did you still want someone to help with designs for logo / website etc? Going to be seeing my friend on Friday who does illustration so any ideas send my way...

Hi All
Think the excitement of Friday night went to my head, or rather my stomach. I've been feeling pretty ropey all weekend, so think I'm going to have to give tonight's practise a miss.
Hope it goes well. See you next Monday.

Well done ladies - last night was awesome!
Just had the collection results in from Jon, and it totals £186.86,
27euro cents, 25 american cents, 2 czech koruna, a blue feather and an
old 50p, half of which will come to us. Huzzah!
Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We should hopefully have
a newbie or two as well, so that will be really nice. I can't make
dinner beforehand due to work, but Lindsey and Nikki should both be in
the Wetherspoons from 6.30pm like last week.
Practice in St Michael's as normal, dinner in the Cross Keys 'spoons next door.
See you all on Monday, and well done us again!
Rachel :)
