Ladies,
Unfortunately, the church have decided that we can't have the hall as usual
this Monday. Due to the short notice, it hasn't been possible to find
another venue in the town centre, and so practice this coming Monday will
be in my front room! For those of you who haven't been there before, it
should be big enough if we push the furniture back, and I've checked with
the girl upstairs.
My apologies to those of you in south London, because it is going to make
getting home afterwards harder. The address is 21a Wolsey Road, N1 4QH.
Oh, and the doorbell doesn't work, so please ring me (07910 836480) to get
in.
If you would like to come for dinner beforehand, you are welcome to. Just
let me know a little in advance so I know how much to cook!
This should only be a one-off, as hopefully we'll have something more
central sorted thereafter. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

tour tonight, do feel free to go along. They're starting just north of
Oxford Street, meeting 7.30 for 8pm start.

the Lamb and Flag, the Henry Holland and the Pontefract Castle. We'll have
a stiff gin at the Coach Makers (it's a "gin palace") before heading off to
the Tudor Rose, the Marylebone, the Crown & Sceptre, the Yorkshire Grey,
the Newman Arms and the Marquis of Granby. Should be a great night. See you

Counting heads for Monday I think we have plenty of people for a practice,
so there will be practice as usual on Monday. I'm expecting Rachel,
Lindsey, Jo, Nic, Janet, Sue, maybe Hannorah, maybe Ffion, not Nikki or
Josie. Let me know if I've misrepresented or forgotten you!
I'll be in the Ship from 6.30pm if you fancy having dinner with me. Also,
we discussed on Monday the idea of throwing some sketches for
logo/banner/website header stuff around - I think that'll probably be
post-practice pub, so if you're interested, keep an eye on that.

Practice is on on Monday, as per usual. I am hoping to be in the Ship for
dinner, but work has been rather crazy lately, so I can't promise to be

As Janet has just reminded me I'm supposed to be ordering more shoes
(oops), I'll do those this afternoon. They'll probably arrive for the 30th

Hi all,
Practise is still on this Monday, but without music from Nikki. The plan is
to go over a few of the more complicated figures and do a big re-cap with
whatever people can't remember. If you can make it, please give me an email
back, as unless we have 5 people it might be better to postpone. I shall
send out a confirmation email sunday afternoon.
I'm afriad I can't make the ship for food before hand - but I'm sure Jo or
Josie would like some company, so rock up and you'll probably find someone
for food.
Regarding shoes - has anyone found anywhere who could put resin on? Rachel
is going to ask where Thrales get theres done, but Sue's cobbler is
currently saying it can't be done.
Thrales are potentially having a tour on Friday the 13th. Will email more
information when we have it confirmed.

Hi all,
I have just bought shoes! They should be arriving in the post either
tomorrow or Monday, and so be in London in time for practice on Monday
night. As such, please try and make it on Monday for the grand trying-on
session, as we have to send back any shoes that don't get claimed on Monday
sharpish. Shoes will be £20 per pair, and will need resin soles adding
afterwards (any decent cobbler can do that for you).
For those of you who were interested in the Thrales' tour this Friday, it
has sadly been cancelled. They only had five dancers, and one has since
pulled out, so... sorry to those who were interested!
Practice is on as per usual on Monday, and as usual we will be in the Ship
beforehand for dinner, from around 6.30pm.

Hi all,
yes I am getting the emails thanks. Sadly my knees are still misbehaving so I will def. not be doing any stepping any time soon! I will still come to practices when I can but will be prioritising the Morris dates we have over the summer. I am still interested in learning figures & maybe being a character for Tower Ravens - not sure that I see myself as a Beefeater though!
Anyway have a great long weekend & hope to see you soon.
