Tomorrow night some of Silver Flame and their musicians are playing for the Knees Up Ceilidh at Cecil Sharp House as the band Lasair - http://www.lasairband.co.uk/
They sound pretty good online and the Knees Up ceilidhs are usually quite fun so Patrick and I are considering going along. Anyone else fancy it?

Hi All,
A fairly short one this week.
The crawl WILL be on 31st May, as that seems to be the date with the most
of us able to go. I have updated the sign-up sheet with this based on the
doodle poll. If the three of you who didn't quite get around to the doodle
poll could have a look and add your names to the appropriate part of the
sign-up sheet that would be appreciated.
New item - 9th July (a Sunday) we have been invited to join Greenwich
Morris and others for a day of dance around Greenwich starting at the Cutty
Sark. We could probably sneak the odd pub in so we don't have to
continually dance outside.
If everyone could have a quick look at the June crawl (now 29th June -
sorry about it moving about so much) to see which way their maybe or no
reply is going, then we can work out whether we will have to be flexible on
that date as well. Looking reasonably good at the mo, but could do with a
couple more Yes's.

Can I check for tomorrow who I am missing? Atm I know I don't have ffion and jo, laura w you were a maybe? Is there anyone else not coming?
We have two new members. Ideally I need Chippenham set to do some Westerhope with laura s covering 5 and then we'll do some jubilee (or vice versa) I don't think we'll have 2 sets due to absences, and I have warned that this might be the case. If you're not dancing Westerhope please have it in mind to teach them some stepping.
Hannah Im assuming we haven't heard from the scout hut so we'll be staying at Kate's mum's (as long as still OK) please can you come with train choices and prices. As well as bus options so that we can get it all agreed and tickets bought asap. Also if we can get a crawl date settled that'd be ace, although I do know that relies on everyone having responded to the doodle poll!

Hello all,
Can I check that I have all of the Chippenham team coming on the 22nd? This will be our only chance to try and do Piccadilly, it depends on rather alot of people managing to do different stuff so I would need us all there.
It might be that we can't do it, which is fine as we have jubilee and westerhope, but still good to have a go!
Hannah will also be sending out a doodle poll re. when we can crawl this month as the normal Thursday is a no-go atm for numbers, please keep an eye out and answer asap!

Hi All,

My plan is to try and do some cross over of Westerhope and Piccadilly to try and give us more options when dancing out but obviously it depends who we have tonight.

Hi All,
Sorry about the delay in sending this out - needed to sort a few things out.
So, Saturday we are dancing at the following times:
1245-1300 in Kennedy (at the end of the ceilidh)
1505-1520 in Kennedy (after maypole)
Sue if you need to rush off - don't worry, but if you are able to be there
for the start of the second one that would be great, even if you need to
run away almost immediately (otherwise I'm sure someone can volunteer to do
a bit of shouting at the start/end/middle).
We can practice in either Storrow or the bar from 1100 - I think this
should give us enough time (at least 1hr) to go through things, though
happy to look into some pubs tomorrow if anyone wants that. Hopefully we
can just run through both jubilee and Westerhope a couple of times and get
them tidied back up ready to dance out.
Please make sure kit is tidy and shoes are shiny. It may be worth being in
kit when we arrive, though we do have a green room(!), so I'll leave that
up to you! (Probably sharing with all the other peeps)
Below is the flyer for the day and the timetable so you can see what else
is happening apart from us! If we are able to do any sharing of the flyer
on our social media, they'd appreciate that (but they probably won't
check!).

Thanks everyone for dancing earlier - sounds like they really enjoyed
having us. Thanks especially to Katherine for doing 4 in Westerhope after
like 2 run throughs and Laura for her beautiful clog dance this morning.
Don't forget we have a practice (an actual practice!) on Monday, so see you
all then. As always if you can't make it, please let Becky now. Looking
forward to building on our incredible DERT successes :)
