Gig at C#H tomorrow

Monday's practice

Hello all, Monday is our last practice before DERT- can you believe it!? Please bring with you:Sash if you think it might need more sparkles (better to check and take it away again than turn up on DERT looking shabby)Train times of arriving into Manchester so I can try and figure out where we all are and when Please see below- the hostel is only 5 mins walk from the train station https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Hatters+Hostel+Manchester,+Newton+Street,… If you have any last minute questions this practice is the time to ask them! Sending from the right email address this time I hope! I am free Thursday 10th, but probably can't get to C# before 7.30/7.45, as I don't finish in Hackney til 7. I found the 12 tight across the shoulders and had probably better go for a 14 as well. Thanks Katherine for agreeing to buy these. Safety pants and extra practice for Westerhope

Hello all, So we had a discussion last night about safety pants. It was agreed that you can choose to wear them or not wear them as you see fit, but that if you do decide to buy some, they must be black. I've just ordered these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231286124406?var=530540160683 They're very cheap. Hopefully they are not also nasty... Katherine is bulk buying shirts for the Westerhope team (Thanks Katherine!), so send her your size. I tried on the 12 and am opting for a 14 because it was a little tight around the shoulders. Westerhope crew - I'm checking on the availability of C#H for another practice. There's this Sunday (but not sure if Rachel is available), or Thursday 10th. Can you let me know your availability please? Do we have anyone who could musician for us on either of those days? Laura

Hey all I have rearranged the DERT info to make it relevant to us (attached). This also includes a google map of all the venues: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zKUMG-pQ6xWg.kDNmplFGwJOQ&usp=sharing The Victoria Warehouse (Friday meeting place/Saturday late night venue) is a car/tram ride away from the city center but they have given us a £15 Uber voucher (DERT16) for new customers which should cover getting a taxi if we want. Last night, pants, and ties

Hello all, Good to see you all last night, and the feedback from the dance was very positive (See message on facebook too). Admittedly it wasn't our best performance - far from it, but hopefully we can sort that out over the next week or so. One of my main issues, however, was exposing my arse to a room full of people that I know - I'm still cringing. This seems to happen a lot to me in popcorn (if anyone can help explain why, please do let me know!). But it was also making think that we all need to wear security pants, not just the tumblers.
