Hi all

Just received my programme for Whitby and feeling very excited.

Unsure where we are re kit, so could Rachel and Sinead both bring their kit on Monday just in case, please, so that hopefully we'll have at least one spare set for Aisha.

Then I really must get my act together and ensure that everyone has their own.  It's just that I have too much on at the moment to get my head near it.

Saw Fred in Sidmouth, who says he'll return after the summer.  Hope so.  He's very busy in the festival season.

When I get a minute or three, I'll make a couple of spare sashes for people like Martin/Fred/Patrick who may be kind enough to help us out occasionally.  Possibly not in time for the August crawl, though.

Jo - just a reminder - if you'd like to bring bedding on Monday I'll take it for you.  I'm guessing there'll be spare stuff in the flat, so probably just sheets will do, or a duvet if you like.

Hope practice went well last night.

Did you get a chance to give Aisha a bell about Whitby?

Re the crawl on 29th, I just want to manage expectations early - I now have a £1m+ pitch on the day of 29th (which in charity world is pretty big). So the likelihood of me being able to spend any time finding pubs that week is extremely slim.

I will do my best to line some up the week before, but if anyone wants to give me a hand I'd be really grateful.

Regarding musicians, I don't know if anybody's asked Fred but I know I haven't.  Patrick would be a good alternative, I he's willing, and I'm very glad to hear that he'll come on the 12th to practice as it does make a difference.  Be good to have as much of the Whitby set as possible for that practice.

Nikki, you aren't actually down as a no for the crawl - is that just that the spreadsheet hasn't been updated?

Patrick will probably play for us a bit at Whitby (and he's asked if M-J / Ru will play for some of the time too) and someone mentioned they were a little concerned about dancing out with a new musician so Patrick will come to the practice on 12 August for the fist half hour to run through the dance a few times. Please can we make sure we have a team there on time for this day so Patrick can leave for Thrales at 8?
