MEMO to dance sides and display teams attending The 20th Tenterden Folk Festival Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th October 2012 The summer is rapidly passing us by and it will soon be October. If your dance side wants to take advantage of Kent and East Sussex Railway's offer of a free trip on the steam trains on Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th October you need to act now as tickets are strictly limited and are first come first served. Email Liz Reid liz@kesr.org.uk with details of your side, the number of tickets you are requesting and the day you would like to travel. The deal is that you entertain the other passengers by singing and playing and/or dancing on the stations on route and before returning to Tenterden from Bodium. It is good fun by try not to miss the procession if you go on Saturday. Remember to let us know the names of your members if they want free festival Weekend Tickets, the are limited too.   Do not forget to book your camping by 31st August if not already done..     Details of this year's festival can now be found at www.tenterdenfolkfestival.org.uk Alan Alan Castle Festival Director Tenterden Town Centre Station, a great place to dance. Do not miss the procession on Saturday at 3.00 p.m. For many of the public it is the highlight of the weekend.
