Thanks for the suggestion Ffion. I've put the following together (based on the existing version) - it could probably do with a little polishing though. Could I have comments by then end of Sunday noon please as I would like to have this done and dusted by the end of the weekend.
Thanks,Hannah
"Deep in the heart of our nation's capital city, ten maidens fair have been astounding the pubs of London with their feats of acrobatic prowess (and drinking) since their escape from the Tower in 2012. Since their recent foray up to Manchester, the Ravens have been up to much mischief including winning the widely acclaimed Sushi Trophy at Thrales Day for their "Peckham fisherwoman's dance" in the GBBO 2016 (that's Great British Beadnell Off in case of confusion with the version involving cake!). Led by a wayward Beefeater who decided to take up the bugle despite having received no formal training, the Ravens will be flying North to visit some of their wild counterparts in the Lake District for a relaxing weekend of dancing and drinking in Kendal. Mint cake anyone? "

Could our reference to Kendal be something about hoping to meet some wild ravens? Or ravens in their original habitat? See info about where you can find ravens in the wild https://rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/bird-and- wildlife-guides/bird-a-z/r/ raven/index.aspx
Sent from my iPadHi everyone,
Just trying to finish sorting out our registration for DERT, and we need to update the bio. Below is the current one (from last year) - anyone any inspiration for updating it? Might be amusing to mention our award-winning fish dance, but I think others are probably more creative than me at this sort of thing!

Any suggestions welcome! Otherwise it'll probably end up pretty similar but changing the ref to Manchester to something a bit more Kendal-y.Thanks,Hannah
