Dear RavensA couple more things:SashesThe new ones won't be ready for tonight, so we'll have to make do with our existing ones. I'll bring along some spare strips in case you haven't brought yours. I'll also bring some bits of net that could be used for nicely coordinating hair ribbons.I hope to be able to give you your new sash on Monday - in exchange for the old one. I need these back so that I can make them into petticoats of the right colour. (We've currently got 3 different shades of net on the go, but only a few bits of the correct shade, so it's very valuable). You will need to attach the fastening before next Thursday, which will involve sticking on one bit of Velcro and sewing on the other bit.Tonight's collectionI think we'll collect more money if we have more than one person collecting, so that the punters can't escape quite as easily. I'll bring 3 pewter tankards tonight and, if you agree, I'd also like to experiment by giving away a 'raven's egg' of the Cadbury variety to everyone who makes a contribution. This would involve as many of us as possible immediately after each dance (given that the dancers will probably need some post-dance discussion time). I hope that the extra money we make will more than pay for the eggs, but we'll see.......Looking forward to seeing you this eveningS x

Hi all,Just a quick reminder that tonight we will meet at the Bree Louise between 6 and 7. Hannorah won't be there until about 6.30. We will all be dressed and ready to dance by 7.15.A few weeks ago on a Sunday we talked through the judging criteria and pointed out the bit about everyone needing to look presentable with sensible hair that doesn't get in the way when dancing. Can I suggest we use tonight to practice looking presentable and you all have a quick think about what you're going to do with your hair? I saw some bright blue hair bands the other day which i might go and buy today.Looking forward to dancing with you later,Ffion x

Just a quickie re. the crawl on Thursday night.
We're doing Euston/King's Cross/Russell Square area, or if we’re being posh - Bloomsbury.
Let's meet in the Bree Louise on Coburg St (right by Euston station) between 6pm and 7pm, with everyone dressed and ready by 7.15.
This is a lovely real ale pub that does smashing pies (Nikki I know you're a fan) so is an ideal place to get something to eat beforehand.
I won’t be getting there til at least 6.30, as I’m not in London on Thursday, but can those who arrive earlier attempt to get a spot on the non-carpetted floor - there's not much of it, and we'll need it if we're going to dance.
