1. Firstly quick push at the signup sheet:

A. To confirm there will be no team dancing at Janet's birthday as we don't quite have the numbers, please do go along if you're free though as I'm sure it'll lots of fun!

B. Please look at upcoming crawls, Thrales and Mabel Day as all of these (especially the hosted days) need confirming sooner rather than later.

2. We voted yesterday to give everyone who travelled to Sheffield and back for the weekend £20 towards their travel which Sue should be sorting out this week. If it gets too complex doing a bank transfer she may switch to cash.

3. There was a brief discussion of DERT, transportation and accommodation. I know it is very early to consider this but, especially with accommodation the sooner we can get it sorted the better. For this reason please put your name on the signup sheet regardless of if you have told me you are going or not!

4. Through Martin we have been invited to do a Ceilidh spot on 6th November in Hampstead. More information to follow but perhaps check your diaries.

5. Lastly a bit of a complaint! We have decided at the AGM (two years running) that if you can't make a practice you need to let Katherine know ASAP, at least 24 hours in advance unless you're actually ill or held up at work on the day. 

This isn't happening from quite a few people any more and it makes it very hard to plan what we are going to do. Either Katherine has to assume you aren't there, which means there won't be much for you to do when you turn up, or she has to re-plan every time someone doesn't turn up when they haven't told her. Each re-plan can make for a less focussed practice which isn't fair on Katherine or the people who have turned up!
