That is really great news! A big well done to the Westerhopers and also a massive thank you. I know we didn't have much practice time with this dance, but it's incredible what we achieved. Would love to continue working on this one because it's such a good dance. X

And if they had marked the compere properly or had more appropriate mark schemes, not to mention totally impartial judges, we'd have beaten Sallyport and probably given S and S a good run for their money.

Hey all

Thought should spread the joy of westerhope as scores but with thrales and sallyport dances separate.

You guys were 1 point behind sallyport's swalwell and only 11 behind star and shadow (which we possibly knew but I didn't register).

So one point behind a premier team who specialise in dancing traditional sword dancers.

A HUGE well done to you all :-)
