I would have expected to be dancing at various locations in the morning, organised by the hosts according to a published timetable, like at St. Neots. Maybe this isn't how they do it or maybe they are relying on someone who has been unable to cope with the organisation.
I think we'd be justified in pulling out at this stage, unless we choose just to go for lunch and the procession, as you suggest. It seems a long way to go for this, but I'd be up for it if everyone else is.

Ok, so a bit more information!
The parade isn't until 1.15 but it's suggested we get there in plenty of time before that. I'm talking to the manager of the whole event rather than our contact who would have more precise information. He tells me she has had some personal problems in the last couple of weeks but he has e-mailed her to try and prompt her to give us more exact information.
I thought maybe aim to get there for 11 or half past? I'm not sure if that's us hanging around for a stupid length of time. If the people going could give opinions that'd be great. We could always meet at 12 and have lunch together?
