Hi All,

Great to have so many people at the AGM on Monday and thanks for filling in the sign-up sheet as it went round in the break. There will be a full set of minutes coming soon for you all to review, but in the meantime, the elected officers are as follows:
Foreperson - Becky
Secretary - Hannah N
Treasurer - Emma
Tour Organisers - Laura, Rachel-Anne, Ellie, Hannorah
Kit - Hannah N
Publicity - Katherine (RA happy to keep Instagram up to date)
Archivist - Rachel-Anne
Musician - Martin

So, upcoming events - November 30th at the Courtyard theatre - this has been confirmed. We're finalising the exact details, but will let you know those soon. There will also be the crawl the day before.

13th December Christmas crawl - at the minute this isn't looking viable, If you haven't yet said yes or no specifically, could you please try to find out one way or another so that we know whether we need to find an alternative date or not...

Which brings me onto other sign-ups
Firstly DERT - we need to sort our tickets out in early December, so if you could make sure you've filled yourself in and add (+1) or something like that if you want to bring someone.

Other sign-ups for the rest of the year, we're making some good progress on working out which of these we are likely to actually do. If you are still a no-reply, on any of the events, could you take a look please - I'll accept maybes for now, as that tends to lead to some no's appearing as well which then reduces the number of events and sparks some yeses - though obviously Yes/No are the preferable options!

Please note we have declined York Festival next September.

We need to get back to Warwick Festival very soon - it's looking like we can almost say yes, so if a couple more people could do that, that would be grand!

I've received some more info on Goathland:
Saturday - either go to Great North Folk Fest or meet and great around the Hub
Sunday - North Yorks Moors Railway tour - stops along the route. Live music in the evening/Jam session
Monday - procession through village taking in some dance location en-route to the Birch Hall in (sweet shop - this sounds like my memory of Beck Hole...)

Indoor and outdoor camping at the Hub (hot water and electricity available). Also a bar. Caravan parking available. Note car parking space at a premium. Potentially other accom available in the village.
In terms of getting there, sounds as though they are happy to help people arriving by public transport (offers of lifts for the last bits if need be).

Other associated costs, There will be a charge of £5 per person on the Friday Evening (this will include a camping pitch and breakfast the following morning). There will be a charge of £10 per person on the Saturday Night and £10 per person on the Sunday Night (this will include breakfast, an evening meal, entrance to the Sunday Evening Live Music Event and hopefully travel on the Railway your ticket will also be included for the great north folk festival).

Have a lovely week!
Hannah :)
