At the AGM we decided that we would like to give longsword a go, so would organise a separate practice on a weekend to try it out. This would be a one-off practice and would be longer than our usual ones (quite likely to involve cake...!)

I've just set up two polls for Longsword - the first is to say whether you are interested in doing Longsword (Yes/No/Maybe options) and the second to say what dates you might be available for. This includes every Saturday and Sunday from 8th October until Christmas excluding those dates that we already have a Ravens event on (apologies if I missed any!).

For now I have just put morning and afternoon as options, we'll work out the exact times later. 

If you are not interested at all please could I ask you to please fill in the first poll with a 'No' so that I don't chase you for availability...

Here's a video of Orion Longsword (you might recognise one or two people from Candyrapper) dancing at Sidmouth. Just to show how longsword can be made quite different to what we see a lot of.
