Hello all,
We've been invited to Basingstoke's SetsMad event (see link for more details) from
what I can see this is a weekend event where they teach all sorts of dances from all over
the UK and Europe. The invitation is currently very open and asks if we could do a
display/session/teaching at some point between the 22nd-24th. They want to pay us (hurrah)
but obviously can't talk money until I know we have a team. I've added it to the
signup sheet with an option for the 23rd or the 24th, I've negated the 22nd as it is a
Friday.
It's in Cliddesden (just outside Basingstoke) so not ideal, but there are trains out
of Waterloo to Basingstoke followed by buses from there to the village. From what I can
tell the whole journey would take just over an hour (bus dependent).
