Hi all,
For clog people-
Sorry I’ve been a bit busy recently to think about clog dates! Saturdays might be tricky
for me. I’m free every Thursday evening in June though so hopefully one of those will suit
enough people. I think that in order for the Ottawa waltz (new clog dance) to be a good
enough standard for festivals, it will require people watching the video/practicing in
their spare time as well as a longer evening practice. Ideally I’d like to spend the
longer practice looking at stylistic points rather than learning the dance, so hopefully
this will be possible by June :).

it'd be good to get a longer clog practice sorted so we're confident ahead of

Ellie can you look at dates that you would be available to teach. Ideally a Saturday as I
don't want to miss a rapper night.
I'm going to teach the Earsdon stepping tonight and we'll go over each week. It
does have doubles in it so some people might take a while to get it but do have a go. It
will only be in Piccadilly where we already do doubles so no immediate panic if it's
not something you do yet.
After that we'll look at dances for Wednesday to make sure everyone is happy with
numbers, then progress with what we started a couple of weeks ago. Once the bank holiday
is over we can properly look forward to festival season and what we need to learn.
I am very much hoping progress has been made for sorting a DoD with Thrales?? This needs
doing asap otherwise it simply won't happen, which would be a real shame.
