Agree about not forcing it, it's so much authentic if it comes about organically.
The key is to keep our eyes, ears (& minds) open for a passing phrase in a tweet, something we see on a crawl etc.
Only things thay have resonated to me this far are:
1. Take a line from our original calling on song (courtesy of Simon V), e.g
'No finer birds in the nation. None more so royally led.'
Or just
'None more so royally led.'
2. 'Petticoats, knickers and knees.' :-)

Hey,
I think it's a good idea but only really works if it makes sense. The Thrales one was taken from a random poster thing where they practice and quite suits their general team ethos (in an ironic way I guess).
I quite like the royal appointment one-something about the tower would be good? I'll rack my brains.
I just don't think we should necessarily force one, if anything we'd be better to have a giant logo on the back until we've been around for longer and have merrily come across something.

Subject: [Tower Ravens] strapline
Hello all,
I'm currently preparing a design for the TR hoodies. Patrick suggested a while back that the Ravens could do with having some kind of strapline like Thrales' "commit no nuisance", to go under the team name. I think this is a good idea, but struggling to think of anything short and snappy, and funny.
So far all I've got is:
Bringing rapper to the nation
By royal appointment (but crossed out)
The birds are (insert witty comment here...)
Britain's birds bringing rapper to the nation
Any ideas from anyone???
Sorry for being pants.
Laura x
