My plan was to wonder down to the oxford street store and see which ones
they had in, and looked nice - and then alter the one we're looking at if
there was a better option. If they don't have anything in, we'll have
another think tomorrow.

it's too risky because I've had a very similar experience recently that
ended in big expense. (I'm now the proud owner of 4 dog collars I don't
need! - don't ask!!!!!) And they are so cheap that it would hardly matter
if we just kept them for spares.
I'll have another look and see if I can find something similar but more
stylish.

Mmm, we could. Personally, I don't much like Fruit of the Loom, and I
feel that the tshirts are more "comfy/practical tshirts" than "nice
performance wear". I'm still not sure that the H&M ones aren't fine -
as
long as they do arrive by the 12th! (And if they don't, there's always an
option to buy something else and send them back, though it's messy).
Lindsey, what do you think? Are we worrying over nothing? Personally, I
say we just do it and buy the H&M ones.

Ah, yes. On second look, they are all available for delivery 8-12th
October, no matter what size you go for. Are we happy with that, Lindsey?
