If we booked all the rooms that would be 12 beds. It would cost a total of £576.00 so £48 per person for the two night, if my maths is correct.

I'm having no luck at all chasing DERT accommodation.  There are several Youth Hostels, but can't accommodate 14.
And I find it surprising that it isn't in university term-time.
Plenty of trains on the Friday during the day, mostly £13.00, but more expensive for the return fare on the Sunday.
