Hi All,
This Sunday we have Sue's street party! Meet at 12 in The Capitol (Spoons very close to Forest Hill station). The plan is to hit some pubs in Forest Hill before heading over to the party ready to dance at 3pm.
We are then welcome to stick around at the party, there will be some food on the street as well, and Sue will be lighting up the BBQ in the early evening. BYOB (though Sue has some Prosecco) and please bring something to put on the BBQ - I think Sue said she'll be making some salads.
If arriving for 12 is an issue, please let Becky/me know.
Thanks to everyone for filling in the sign-up sheet - our Autumn sign-ups are looking much healthier! The one we could do with a bit more on is the Step Ceilidh Party on 16th November. It would be great to do this, but at the mo we are reliant on the no-replies and maybes to have a team.
Whittelsey Straw Bear will need to know if we are coming by 1st October, so please fill yourself in for this one as well. We'll try and get a bit more info as well.
New Invites:
- 17th October - Man the Lifeboats album launch in the Water Rats (near Kings Cross). Ellie is getting more info on this, but likely to be a dance and free drinks!
- I have also added the AGM date of 11th November to the sign-up sheet, please take this as it officially being called. More info/Agendas etc. nearer the time.
Events which are not happening:
- Dance around the World - people just don't seem keen (unless you all put yourselves down as yeses today!).
- The crawl on 31st October will be cancelled - am trying to work out a different date at the mo, which is proving tricky given our other events.
AOB:
- If you haven't filled in Emma's Whitby expenses spreadsheet please do so, she will be chasing soon.
- Kit: I think Miriam, Rachel-Anne, Jo and Clare (T-shirt only) are the only people that haven't got it yet, you should be able to get this on Sunday, or can arrange to get it from me after that. Emma will be in touch about costs for kit and getting that in.
