I can't think of pubs in the area but I often get asked to email. Below is a copy of
an email that I send in case you want to adapt it. X
Hi there,
This Thursday evening (28 September) Tower Ravens Rapper Sword Dance Team will be
performing in a number of pubs in the Elephant and Castle area and we would love to come
and do a dance at The Elephant. I popped in last Friday and one of your bar staff asked me
to email.
The dance takes about 4 minutes and consists of 5 dancers, 1 musician and 1 extra person
who introduces the team before we dance. We don't take up much space as the 5 dancers
are connected to each other and pub punters always enjoy seeing the dance. You can see an
example of our dance here:

We would probably start the evening off at your pub so would be ready to dance around
7.30pm. Please let me know if you think this will be OK. If you've got any questions
feel free to email or call me on 07920404642<tel:07920404642>.
Thanks,
Ffion

Subject: [Tower Ravens] Crawl - Ideas?
Hi all
I had a less than ideal response from pubs yesterday with all saying they would be too
busy and having tried to get to the bar on a Monday am inclined to believe them, pubs that
tentatively agreed and I think we can realistically dance in (in proposed order):
The Counting House
Jamaican Wine Bar
The Windsor
Draft House Seething
Hung Drawn and Quatered
Walrus and Carpenter
The Monument
This is technically enough but with no back up. The other usuals either said no or are
tiny.
Does anyone know of any other big pubs anywhere between Monument and Aldgate that might be
worth trying? Or have any other ideas?
Best
Katherine
P.S I had several recommending/asking me to also email? Not come across that before!
