Hi all,
Collection results from last night are in. Guesses were as follows:
Hannorah £48.00
Daniel £54.70
Jo £55.00
Rachel £58.04
Nic £62.00
Deb £64.00
Sue £64.57
Ffion £73.50
Nikki £84.14
But we were all completely wrong, because we actually made £116.98 +
€0.02! (Yes, I know, I can't believe it either, but I counted it
twice). This is the most we've ever made on a tour, so go us! And
practically enough to buy us a new set of swords right there. A big
thanks go to Deb and Sue for being on the ball and doing most of the
collecting work, and Daniel for being generally friendly to punters :)
Nikki wins by being closest, so well done Nikki.
I think this is also testimony that the chocolate eggs really do work
:) (Sue, let me know how much I owe you there.)

Wicked! Sounds like heading to Whitechapel was definitly the best decision!

Yeah, Dan said afterwards that Thrales normally do really well in
Whitechapel as well. I guess people there are just happier to donate?

I am literally stunned! Especially as we weren't allowed to collect in one pub &
another had three people in it (including the barmaid).
That means we raised over £100 in just four pubs essentially - incredible - & more or
less completely down to Sue & Deb - well done ladies!!
