Hi all,
Another good practice last night with lots of Beadnell progress made. Here's my
proposed plan for the next two weeks.
30 June -
Teach Beadnell to those who've missed one/both of the last 2 weeks: 1) (Lindsey to
stand in) 2) Laura 3) Kat 4) Hannorah 5) Josie & Rhona
Polish Beadnell with non-Leigh set: 1) Jo 2) Katherine 3) (Becky to stand in) 4) Sinead 5)
Ffion
Jubilee from alternative positions: polishing Hannorah 2 and Becky 4, teaching Jo and
Katherine 1. We might have a new member, also called Katherine, so this would be a good
chance to teach her some figures.
7 July -
Mini-crawl in Camden. Hannorah is finding some pubs. At the moment we only have 2 yeses so
please sign up

Followed by Laura Smyth & Ted Kemp and The Foxglove Trio at Green Note. Music starts
at 8.30pm. Nic is going to sort out attendance and tickets.
Hope that all sounds ok. At the moment I'm expecting everyone apart from Aisha and
Rachel next week. If you can't make it please let me know as soon as you know so that
I don't send Becky on a pointless trip to get the second set of swords again!

Hi Guys
Very lucky me - I'm being taken to Glastonbury by one of my charity's corporate
partners. I get to stay in a luxury pod, in the hospitality area where there's also
showers - woo hoo!
Downside is I'll be travelling back on Monday & even if I'm back in time for
practice I doubt I'll be in a fit state to do anything.
Sorry Ffion, I know I need to learn Beadnell from position 4, but as I had a fairly good
go as 5 the other week I've got the gist of it, & will watch clips of Thrales
& Sallyport to get a sense of where 4 needs to be.

Hi everyone,
Firstly sorry for not making it on Mon - I came down with my worst migraine in ages and
only just recovered yesterday evening. I'm not always capable of using a laptop to
send an email when with a migraine and I'm afraid this was 1 of those times, so
I'm sorry for not giving notice.
I will definitely be there on Mon so looking forward to more Beadnell!
I know I was a maybe for Leigh but I don't think I should come - I haven't done
the procession stuff, or done the main dance in a while, plus I don't have kit. I
could really do with the extra day at home for coursework so on balance I should probably
do that instead.
You'll be glad (I hope!) to hear that my final cw deadline is in 2 weeks so after that
I will be a lot more free for crawls and practices.
Enjoy Leigh and see you on Monday.
