The hall isn't free next Wednesday but lots of us were free! Anyone got any ideas
where we could go?

Friendly pubs with a room separate from the bar? - they might let us
practice for free for one night if we all had pint after. Are there any
that fit the bill near Bank?
Where do Thrales practice? Is it a church hall?

Anywhere really! Pub, Church, school, don't care! Central would be best as easy for
everyone but could go a tad further afield, not much as don't want people to have to
travel too far in the evening.
Thrales are in a church hall but didn't think they were back in it yet (building work)
but I might have missed something! It's in Borough which isn't too bad for getting
to?

That tiny pub that’s always really friendly & has an upstairs, The Swan:

If you’re desperate Age UK in Tavistock Square (where I work) has a cafe. The floor is
sort of plastic lino I think, but lots of space & it’s central. Building normally
closes about 9 but if you let me know by tomorrow lunchtime I can ask if we can use it
& if they’ll stay open til 9.30.
