Ratify last year minutes:
* Sue is our Tommy, nic to try being a Tommy. Do we want a Betty? Can try
if anyone keen but not necessary.
Officer reports:
Ffion:
yay everyone has improved and they should be proud of themselves. Better at
disaster prevention. Going to dert was a good idea, now seen as a team.
Accurate place for where we were. Gained lots of people, lost none.
Pleased. Thanks for your effort. Thanks Rachel for help with teaching.
Frustrations.
1. Too much chat in practice. Put your shoes on first. (Social events more
often as possible solution. Maybe just abolish chatting at beginning, move
from pub earlier. Agreed! Yay.)
2. Attendance lacking (in summer, maybe OK with doodle poll). Addressed by
more members, but please turn up.

Nikki:
Position not clear. Am rubbish (though did liaison with church hall
promptly). Mentioned that secretary role not respected by email moderators.

Rachel:

(Discussion point, keep subs as is and keep making profit or lower subs.
Maybe subsidise tower ravens events.)
Hannorah:
Report additional. Will add list of all pubs we've danced in to the
spreadsheet.
Nic:
Dinner post dert, a couple of ceilidhs. Whitby and Tenterden. Want more
feedback on what people want to do, and how much. Also what is expected of
the role.
Sue:
All established members have kit, new members to get them. Have found lots
of fabric so now have stock for everything except zips. Tommy costume took
ages. Thanks people to helped to make the skirts and sashes. Have a booklet
now documenting how kit is made so people can make their own if they want.
Kit looks much better than Whip the Cat's. Tumbling? Standardise tights?

Twitter, Facebook, Google calendar. Google account has info@ , make
everything from that account so we have records of correspondence.
Publicity images, logo, business card templates all in Google account.
Missing wardrobe, crawls, reports and minutes. Worth making account details
public to committee only. Continue sharing appropriate things. Feedback
wanted on pubs. Mailing list OK. Haven't got a website. Want a placeholder
page. Can't upload photos to Facebook as TR or tag TR.
Nikki (cake):
Cake is tasty, thanks everyone for making tasty cakes.
Discussion points:
* Happy with venue and time? Yes
* Regularity of tours and dance outs? Later
* dance? Named after tube lines, have a good dance and a learner dance.
Let's call dances by their tube names. Jubilee is not-finished-dert dance.
People seem to not want a third dance before dert. Happy to work on current
dances. Could do dance well, add tumble. Start at January is good idea, so
don't have to decide now.
* DERT: do we want to do it? Yes! Could enter two teams, subject to space.
Majority (but not all) want to go competitively. Yes to intensive training
of 5 people but make sure everyone else is improving at a similar rate for
substitution and niceness. Try for one main team, make them as good as
possible. We want to be placed I.e. 1st 2nd 3rd.
* cinquefoil day of dance: no dates yet.
* date of AGM: keep as is, EGM after DERT is good. Set as Monday after
Thrales Rapper day. Planned EGM after dert.
* constitution: treasurer to learn what banks need for a society account.
* hoodies/branding: good for festivals and bonding and workshops. Happy?
Yes. Let's make pubs officer do it. Choose designs later.
* keys: second set fine but only hush hush. One set to stay with swords.
Other to stay with someone who can get in emergency. Or just bring anyway.
Should move around if necessary
* subs: fine to stay as is
* fundraising in crawl: good. Assign collector before dance. Bring friends.
* publicising: fine, but choose pubs earlier, hopefully 8 pubs (if densely
populated with pubs) with some spares.
* musician: need more backup. Laura to help during practice. Concertina
brought, maybe branded stool. Maybe Martin (good rapper musician) as
backup. Need to come to practice if want to come dancing out. If not
playing much then don't ask for subs.
* to-do: clarify this subs thing
* tumbles? Yes please, before Christmas. Email Thrales. Character
workshop? Yes if there is one. Secretary to work out.

Chairwoman/Pres/Foreperson/crown Raven/Bag Fairy.
Person who stops the buck and is responsible. Quality control of
everything. Can delegate things that aren't defined. Teaches/delegates
dancing. Manages practice. Make pocket on sword bag for business cards and
keys. Makes decisions on things with little notice. Leads discussion on
things. Not a dictator. If dictator, revolutionary EGM and usurp said
dictator.
