I think it sounds pretty good although I think I think explicitly saying we're very
similar teams could be avoided, I mean, I know we are, but it sounds a little dull for
people to watch? All I'd suggest is very slightly editing to something like this:
'Our guests for the day will be Silver Flame - a female team from Bristol who won the
Championship category at DERT 2015. Expect lots of fast spins, exciting tumbles and
swishing skirts in a haze of black, purple and blue! If that's not enough we both have
charming and confident 'Tommy' characters so the pub punters are bound to be
entertained even if a long day's dancing (and drinking) takes its toll on the
dancers!'
Very very small change.

After that I don't know how exciting to make it, I think this is good and then we can
always big the day up on social media once we've got some more information.

 Morning!
 I've had a go at writing the article for Folk London. I don't think it's
particularly interesting! Can you think of anything to make it better? Also is there any
information I've left out? He didn't say how long he wanted it to be. The deadline
is 5 March. How are we going to decide on a first pub? I imagine he might want a photo to
go with it too. Do we have a specific good one we're using at the moment?

 Tower Ravens inaugural Day of Dance 

 Tower Ravens is London's premier (also only) female rapper sword dance team. We were
formed in the wake of the 2012 London Dance England Rapper Tournament (DERT) and the team
has been growing in size and reputation ever since. Most of our performances take place in
pubs around London on the last Thursday of every month. During the last four years we have
also been invited to take part in festivals (such as Tenterden and Leigh on Sea), many
Morris sides' Days of Dance and of course Thrales rapper's annual November Day of
Dance. 

 Having enjoyed many other teams' hospitality we decided it was time to organise our
own Day of Dance! The day will take place on Saturday 16 April and will be a long pub
crawl taking in some of our favourite central London establishments. We will begin at
1pm(?) at the x pub and will likely visit Euston road, Holborn and Fitzrovia. A full
itinerary will be published online closer to the time. 

 Our guests for the day will be Silver Flame - a female team from Bristol who won the
Championship category at DERT 2015.  Like Tower Ravens their kit is mostly black but they
accent it with a purple sash and purple Doc Martins! Our two teams have relatively similar
dance styles so expect lots of fast spins, exciting tumbles and swishing skirts. We both
also have charming and confident 'Tommy' characters so the pub punters are bound
to be entertained even if a long day's dancing (and drinking) takes its toll on the
dancers!
