Hi Everyone,
Having consulted with Thrales, we are going to get the 1135 train arriving
into Leeds at 1349. I'm in the process of buying tickets at the moment, so
we'll soon have the outward ones all booked up.
For returns, could people please respond as to which of the following
trains they would prefer to get (those that end up in a group, may have to
compromise a little, but I'm sure we can work it!):
1205, 1405 or 1505 (the same as Rachel) - these are the cheapest. There is
also a train at 1305 - but it is another £10 at the mo (£23.75 with
railcard as opposed to £14.50 - so not terrible). Only 6 tickets left on
1205.
Could you let me know which train you would like to come back on by 3pm
tomorrow please for me to book you a train. We don't necessarily all have
to travel back as a group, unless on groupsave...
Thanks,
Hannah

Hi All,
As I'm worried about train ticket prices going up soon, I want to start
buying up tickets. At the moment the only ones it makes sense to buy are
the 2 2-together ones as I need one more person to go into a group save
with Laura and Reesha. If anyone wants to buy their own tickets, feel free,
just let me know so that I don't need to worry about you. I am going to
purchase the first round of tickets tomorrow morning, so if you would like
me to get yours please fill the spreadsheet in. I think a couple of people
have had problems accessing it (I have no idea why it isn't working how I
want it to - sorry about that!) - so if you are having trouble, please just
email me the info and I'll add it in.
Accommodation - Again, this is going fast (I wonder why...). there are
apparently 3 double rooms and 3 twin rooms in the ibis (the cheapest of the
ones which Katherine has a discount for) which will cost £35 per person
(assuming 2 sharing), Katherine thinks she may be able to add one or two
more rooms to this. Though this could have changed by now. From the looks
of it, this might not be quite enough for all of us, so I have been trying
to look into other options as well. Mostly it's a bit on the pricey side,
including the hostels which are between £35 and £50 anyway - so it doesn't
exactly look cheap.
Thanks,
Hannah
