Hi All,
To follow up on this, I have the following provisional groups for getting
to Whittlesea. This may change by Whittlesea depending on any issues raised
by anyone/me coming up with something better!
Some cars are not returning to London or are going at a specific time, so
we will probably need to rejig for the return leg / have some people
getting lifts to stations as the alternative car options are not
necessarily going all the way back to London. If you are driving please let
me know what time you need to leave at to arrive by 10 am, I hear parking
is a bit of a pain, so please allow for this in your estimate.
I have moved a few people from the Vauxhall car to Marylebone as I need to
lock up our flat and Will's car is smaller than the one Martin will have.
Shout if any of this is an issue! There is a bit of wiggle that can be done
to help minimise everyone's travel time by swapping some people, but Will's
car isn't a magic clown car.
So: From Vauxhall, *Will *- one way only with Miriam, Tori (though possibly
makes more sense to swap with Clare...), Hannah N
Marylebone with *Martin*, leaving Whittlesea at 3pm. Hannah TD, Emma H,
Clare, Emma S
Forest Hill with *Sue*: Rachel-Anne. Sue, if we had some strays for the
home leg would you be happy to throw them out of your car on your route
back in?
Other drivers are *Fliss* from Royston (not sure about return leg);
and *Hannorah
*from Berkhamsted. Perhaps Hannorah you could drop some people at the
station to get into London? - easy trip in with West Mids Trains to Euston.
I'll do my best to figure out return legs, though this may be more of an on
the day thing. There is also the train home if anyone wishes to stay beyond
their lift.
If I have missed you off the above please shout asap. Becky will already be
there.
Thanks,
Hannah

Hi All,
As pointed out by Will, there are some engineering works making travel to
Whittlesea a bit more of a pain than it should be...
So options:
1. 0712 train to Whittlesea
2. Indoor camping at Sir Harry Smith School, PE7 1XB costs £7.50 pppn and
we need to let them know ASAP.
3. Drive - if we have enough people able to offer lifts from either London
or some train station in that direction.
Martin will be driving so can take 4 people. Are there others that will be
or could drive? And if you are able to offer a lift, where would it be
from? There are currently 14 yeses, though I know Becky will already be
there.
*Please let me know any preferences on the 3 options above and whether you
can offer lifts. We can do a combo of them depending on what people
want/are able to offer.*
*Also if you are a maybe can you pick Yes / No please as I need to sort
ticket numbers (as well as the above logistics...)*
Trains home at 1558 and 1727/1758 are the best options for trains home
unless lift sharing.
Our first dance spot is at 1045, but we need to be there in good time
before that - parking is a bit of a mare. We also need to collect our
wristbands from the Manor Leisure Centre. Last spot finishes at 1445. I
don't think we're in the final spot, but the Bears Dance at 1530 which is
probably worth watching, though if we need to head for trains/cars then I
guess we are dictated by that. In the evening there is a ceilidh Saturday
night if anyone wants to go to it, you can get tickets on the Strawbear
website.
In terms of parking there is a free park and ride from the Sir Harry Smith
School to near the Manor on Saturday. May be others, but not too familiar
with the area!
Thanks,
Hannah
