Morning all,
Just thought you might like to see this nice email I got from a colleague who I sent a Tower Ravens video too.

Hi, It all looks good to me but I prefer the double sided card.
The top right design number 10 for the front for the back number 8
The shade of the card as on the design of 10.

Hi all,
In order to get our business cards printed in time for next
Wednesday's crawl we need to make a decision by THIS FRIDAY so please
send round any comments asap! The business cards were in an email from Lindsey which came through on Monday morning - I can't send again because the file is too big so please refer to the previous email!
Thanks,
Ffion x
The Foxglove Trio's début CD, Like Diamond Glances, is now available from www.thefoxglovetrio.co.uk
There are lots of us going to Tenterden and apparently no train station in the town. Can anyone driving reply with their name and how many spaces they'll have?
Ffion - max 1 space (on account of Patrick and cello), going down Saturday afternoon, coming back Sunday around the M25 getting off at Enfield so probably only useful for Josie.
Hi everyone,
Another good practice last night making progress on the new dance. I reckon we'll have it ready for Tenterden. Next week we'll go from nut (where we ended last night) into fast & loose, choker then windmills to end so have a think about those figures during the week if you can!
We decided that none of the days Cinquefoil suggested would suit us as we'd only just be able to get a team together and we'd like to have as many people as possible take part. I've put 3 Saturdays in early 2014 in the sheet. Please fill it in as soon as possible so we can get back to cinquefoil with some other suggested dates. Please also fill in your availability for the AGM dates. I tried to change Emma to Katherine (seeing as we haven't seen Emma for a while) but couldn't. Is this an admin only thing? Katherine, for now I suggest you put your availability in the Emma column! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AvM6rY7GMmOGdF9vYVIwaXBmXzViSzM…

250g SR flour, 11/2 tsp ground ginger, 100g butter/hard marg, 350g castor sugar, 1 egg beaten
In bowl sieve the flour and ginger. Another bowl cream butter or marg with sugar then beat in the egg. Stir in the flour and combine well. Roll the dough into walnut size balls and place on greased baking tray. Oven temp 150 C/300 F/ Gas mark 2 for about 40 mins until crisp hollow and lightly browned.
Cheers Janet
According to the sheet we could have a team of:
1 Lindsey
2 Janet
3 Nic
4 Sinead
5 Sue
At the moment there are no extras and no musician. Nikki / Fred, are you available? The only way of having an additional dancer would be if Josie can make it.
Would you be happy to do the event if Josie can't make it? I'll see some of Thrales tonight at the Teacups gig so, if we can get a musician, I'll tell them we CAN do the booking unless anyone says I should do otherwise.

Hi all,
Thanks to everyone who came to practice last night - we did some good work on the new dance and got to meet Katherine, our newest member :-) We also got to see some nice new business card designs expertly created by Lindsey.
Thrales can't get a team together for the Bermondsey Street festival on Saturday 21 Sept so they've asked if we'd like to do it. It's a paid gig - £70. Afternoon - approx 1 - 5pm. PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR AVAILABILITY ON THE SHEET RIGHT NOW as they need to know soon. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AvM6rY7GMmOGdF9vYVIwaXBmXzViSzM…
Other dates issues - 1) please add your availability for the cinqufoil day of dancing. 2) We need to set a date for the AGM. Following on from last year it should be Monday 18 November. We need as many people as possible to be there so we can have a good meeting where everyone's views are taken into account. I've added the date to the spreadsheet. If not many people can commit we can explore other dates. 3) Patrick asked at Thrales' post practice pub outing last night and the general consensus was that it would be ok for us to have our cinquefoil day on 9 Nov as long as we don't got to the same areas as them - Soho in the day time, Southwark in the evening.
There are now only 3 more practices until Tenterden. Please try and make all three practices if you're coming to Tenterden (which is most people) - we need to make sure 5 people can get through the new dance! If you've been in a team learning it please try and do some mid week mental practice of how the figures go. I don't know about you but it really helps me when Monday rolls round again.
Finally, a reminder that The Foxglove Trio will be playing at this TOMORROW at The Music Box Folk and Acoustic Music Club, Paper Dress Vintage, 114 – 116 Curtain Road, EC2A 3AH. 7.30 – 11pm and I think we’re last. https://www.facebook.com/events/1401558180061613/. I'm also hoping to go to see The Teacups on Thursday at Islington Folk Club if anyone fancies joining me.

> Aattached is the September update for Morris sides that are coming along to the festival this year. Ther is still a bit of 'space' to accommodate a few more sides both on
