Hello all,
Good to see you all last night, and the feedback from the dance was very positive (See message on facebook too). Admittedly it wasn't our best performance - far from it, but hopefully we can sort that out over the next week or so.
One of my main issues, however, was exposing my arse to a room full of people that I know - I'm still cringing. This seems to happen a lot to me in popcorn (if anyone can help explain why, please do let me know!). But it was also making think that we all need to wear security pants, not just the tumblers. How do people feel about this? I've seen some cheap, royal blue pants on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231286124406?var=530540160683
Please can we buy some so I can retain my dignity?! Thanks.
Also, for the trad team kit, I know Sue is making a tie. If however you decide it's not worth it, there are plenty on ebay going very cheap:

Hi Becky
First of all I just want to thank you and all of the Ravens for coming and dancing at my party. I'm really pleased you agreed to come and I have no doubt that everyone will love what you do. And please consider yourselves part of the party and enjoy the
evening - not just there to do your Rapper.
Attached is a copy of the little informal flyer we're going to hand out to people when they arrive so that everyone has an idea of what to expect. This should tell you what you need to know and the timings should be considered as guidelines only. A few minutes
either way are unimportant so the Ravens can take whatever time you feel like - the times shown were just my guess.
Any problems or questions please come back to me.
Look forward to meeting you on Saturday.

Hi Rebekah,
No problem re. delay, we'd all rather forgotten about it! Since we had such a lovely time we wondered if you might give it to a local charity instead on our behalf? I don't know if there is a standard one you give to or anything. We didn't really think to profit from the day and thought a local one might show our Sheffield appreciation :)
I did wonder if any videos or pictures had come from the day that were any good? Or..even if not good that you might send us? (I have a distinct memory of falling over in the first dance for no apparent reason..)

Thanks :)

Hello,
I bought a pair of size 6 shoes but they were a little loose so I bought a pair of 5s. I can't get my feet into them! Is there anyone with size 5ish feet who might need a new pair of shoes sometime soon? I can bring them tomorrow or Monday or try. If I don't hear from anyone by Tuesday I'll send them back.
Katherine, shall I give you my 6s tomorrow to get soled?

Hello all,
Please ignore the disheveled appearance, pasty legs and slippers..The point is this is a black erm 'faux satin'? shirt, i.e. not standard cotton so doesn't get stuck in funny positions from lifting swords up and down and is generally cheaper. It has a full size collar so a tie fits and the whole thing tucks into our skirts ok.
I'll bring the shirt on Thursday for people to see. It isn't massively long but seems ok, potentially pinning each side to the skirt would allow arm movement while preventing it from coming up out the top.
I bought this from Primark and it won't have cost much. It was ages ago, but hopefully we could find something similar if people thought it would do.
The shirts in the more floaty material don't work because the collars are generally too small and I suspect are so light weight you'd struggle to keep them in the skirts and pinning them would tear them apart.
Food for thought,
B xx
