Hello all,
So crawl around Bank next Monday, I think Laura is organising this, when you have the details can you share them so we can put them on facebook? Or create the facebook event?Whatever happens meet at Crosse Keys at 7 for a start at 7.30, if you're going to be late please either email (earlier in the day) or text me as Katherine is still hoarding her phone behind a radiator at work!
Carol will be coming along to play with us for at least some of the evening, which should be good! This is partly just so she knows what is happening at the Ceilidh spot.
Ceilidh spot 8th July, Ceilidh starts at 7 but our spots are 9.20 in the concert hall, and then troop to the chapel area for 9.30 (so a quick break in between to catch our breath).

for more info on the actual event!
The same guy, who really seems very keen on us has asked us for other dates coming up (please see info below)I'm putting together a folk club type night (non ceilidh) in West Norwood at a lovely new pub that's recently opened. Fee is £75 - £100.
FRIDAY 15th JULY - this would be the launch night and would be particularly good to get you guys in for.
But there are also possibilities on:
FRIDAY 19th AUGUST
FRIDAY 30th SEPTEMBER
FRIDAY 16th SEPTEMBERFRIDAY 30th SEPTEMBER
This could possibly be a regular (maybe bi-monthly) spot if all goes to plan. I am under pressure with this one (for the earlier dates at least) to confirm as soon as possible.
Katherine what do you think of this? I'm happy to make it clear we're not free for a regular spot, especially in west norwood of all places, but I didn't know what you would think of doing the launch date if we could get a team? I'll put it on the signup sheet. gets us seen and paid after all...

See you all soon,

Hey,
Just to confirm Carol is happy to play for us at the ceilidh spot :)
She hasn't mentioned anything about paying but it'd be good to make sure she has drinks and the like for thanks!

Hello all,
After some consideration we have decided to have our next crawl on the 4th July. This was mainly due to us not being able to use the hall to practice, but also because we actually had some more solid numbers!
I'll put it on the singup sheet so people have the date but take it as people having signed up via the practice doodlepoll.
Hannorah, Jo and Laura S. Can any of you confirm whether or not you can make Laura W's wedding? As yet we don't have a team and I want to confirm and get accommodation sorted sooner rather than later!
Thanks,
Becky
Hi Guys
Really sorry but I'm not gonna make practice tonight. Got a deadline for a bid at work & we're gonna be working super-late just to meet it.
Have fun & see you next week.

Hello,
Demon Barbers tweeted us about this http://www.thedemonbarbers.co.uk/outlaws-wanted/ They're looking for rapper dancers to do workshops and performances in Yorkshire. Get in touch with them if you want to take part.

Hi all,
In a vague attempt at organisation I have been looking at accommodation for Laura's wedding and DERT.
The wedding there are quite a few options, air bnb, and a hostel being the cheaper options (Jo and Hannorah are both maybes do you know if you can make it? One of you is really needed as otherwise Sue has to dance so we can't do Piccadilly and means we're without a Tommy which is a bit sad!)Everyone else can you give me an idea if you'd be interested in staying over night or heading home on the train it'll give me a better idea of numbers to search for. Last train was about 10.30 so you'd need to leave the wedding around 10.
DERT - I know this is still aaaages away but with there being such little accommodation in Kendal it seems better to look early ( thank you to Sue for reminding me of these things!)
There are a couple of places that house larger numbers of people (in fancy stable block style) or there is a hostel which we could try phoning to book as the website stops in November atm.I know it's very early but I'm going to put it on the signup sheet to try and gather numbers. In all honesty it might be worth waiting until the AGM for this, but I might try and have numbers by then...I know it's a long way away and it's not always easy for people to commit. Watch this space anyway and please contemplate your diary for 7th-9th April!

Hello all,
Just to confirm, we'll see everyone by 12 at St Albans - presuming St Albans City btw¬!? Hannah recommends exit 4.We will do a final dance spot at 4 with other teams and then head back to London.
Food grabbed en route to be at C# for around 6, obviously if you're not in St Albans still come for around then and we'll picnic it up :)I've asked for our time slot at C# so we know, will email once find out.
It was pointed out I'm a div and didn't actually but the last Thursday in June as the crawl date. Can you please fill in the alternative date of the 30th and we'll see which has the best turn out and then see if we actually have anyone around to organise one!
