Hi All,
Please find attached a draft for the EGM next Monday (8th April). Please do
take a look and let me know of anything that we are missing.
For reference, I've also attached the AGM minutes from 19th November 2018
and the action points are below. Please do read the AGM minutes before
Monday as well, to save us having to read them out during the meeting.
Any items you would like adding, please let me know before 5pm on Monday so
I can print off some copies to bring with me.
Please feel free to bring food and drink on the day, always helps the
meeting go by, and once the meeting is done we can chill/Party!

Invite Will Allen to come to practice for DERT - done
Try new Westerz figures - done a bit
If have figures that you would like to try send to Becky - Did you get any

KR to ask Tom R if we can try out some short Thrales swords - not done,

Dear all
Thanks Hannah. Quick word on DART so we're prepped for a discussion on
Monday. We agreed at the AGM that if we're to consider going in 2020, we
probably want to agree to aim for it in principle at this EGM - giving us a
year and a half to sort everything out. Clearly it would be a great thing
to do, lots of fun and great experience for the team. It would also be
hugely appreciated by the American teams.
A few things to think about:
- DART 2020 is likely to be in Minneapolis. It usually has roughly the same
format as DERT although it's smaller. I guess we'd probably look at going
over there for a week before or afterwards, and coordinate some activities
(dance outs, visits etc) with local groups.
- Clearly most of us won't have planned in detail what life will look like
in Autumn 2020. I guess on Monday we'd be looking for an indication that
this is something we want to work towards and provisional commitment to
take part, recognising that stuff/life/priorities can change. Full
commitment would come when we get around to booking stuff like flights.
- Typically, we'd pay to get there but local teams would host us when we're
there. Flights probably cost between £400 and £500 per person. I'm sure as
a team we can agree how to make sure noone is excluded on the grounds of
cost.
- I'd be happy to help (and coordinate) organising if that's helpful.

Hello everyone.
You are all absolutely fabulous!
Lots to celebrate tomorrow, so we shall do our best to get through the AGM
as fast as we can. I've been asked to add a couple of things to the agenda,
and if anyone else has anything, please let me know by 5pm tomorrow.
Also if you are unable to make it tomorrow and have things that you would
like said, please email them to Becky or me and we'll make sure they are
read out/raised.
Please do bring food/drinks along, and if we can do our best to have a
prompt 1930 start (arrive before to help sort the room out) then we'll be
able to get onto item Party in good time.
Also, Please take a look over the minutes from the AGM.
